Summer Experience
Philly Focused & Fit is a self-development, health and wellness summer camp for girls aged 11-18. Campers will use cycling and other physical activities as tools to enhance overall quality of life and wellbeing. At Philly Focused & Fit, wellbeing, self-development, exposure and experience are at the forefront. We strive to create spaces that empower and uplift young girls and foster their physical, mental, social and emotional wellness.
Our Goals
Build a community for girls that lends itself to developing self-awareness and self-confidence.
Help girls establish and commit to individualized health and wellness routines.
Engage in community outreach activities that support the increasing access to resources, and close health disparity gaps with a focus on the social determinants of health.
Camp will be divided into four modules, each focusing on an aspect of self-development and wellness, while providing exposure to a paradigm that encompasses various aspects of the cycling industry. Participants will focus on Self-Reflection, Business Aspects of Biking, Bike Mechanics and Safety and Community Biking Activities. The goal is to provide the tools and resources needed to build self-confidence and self-awareness. Through daily reflective activities, Philly Focused & Fit is building a community of girls who are committed to their own self-growth and fostering spaces that share in raising awareness, empowering, encouraging and uplifting one another.
